The love of my life, the keeper of my heart, my permanent date lost his battle against cancer at 7:35pm Wednesday, November 18th 2020. RIP my darling.

I had so many things I wanted to say, but they all pale in comparison to the legacy he has left behind, our three children Phil, Jess & Josh, our son-in-law Tom McGoldrick and our two grandsons, Jack & Hank McGoldrick. He paved the way for our children, and they stood strong beside me as we watched DJ fight to spend just a few more hours, just one more moment with us.
I had thought to end this post with the Beatles singing “In My Life,” but then I realized the Seekers singing “I know I’ll Never Find Another You,” was exactly how I feel. “If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small, I could lose it all tomorrow and never mind at all. But if I should lose your love dear, I don’t know what I’ll do, cause I know I’ll never find another you.” God be with you DJ.
A special thank you to my brother Dean for helping write DJ’s obituary. It’s live on the funeral home’s website https://www.richardsfuneralhome.com/obituaries.html
