Dear Reader ~
September was a whirlwind of a month! It was crunch time to finish my novella, The Merry Wife of Wyndmere, for Dragonblade Publishing’s December release, A Duke in Winter: A Historical Romance Collection.
The good news is, I met my October 1st deadline and turned in The Merry Wife of Wyndmere! Later that day, I received the edits for The Duke’s Protector, Book Two, in the Duke’s Guard Series. I kept my head down and turned my edits in to my fabulous editor on October 3rd.
I polished the blurb for my novella in A Duke in Winter and just uploaded the excerpt for The Duke’s Protector to my website! Ticking off items on my To Do List because this afternoon, I’ll be chatting with Readers at The Tea Room, hosted by the proprietresses, Cerise DeLand and Susana Ellis. We will be chatting over tea and delectable sweets. I have two print book giveaways today: The Duke’s Sword, Book One, in The Duke’s Guard Series and His Vow to Keep, my Christmas novella that originally appeared in Star of Wonder last year and released on it’s on in July. I’m looking forward to the brief respite from deadline/edit madness because next up in my writing-queue are two books due one day apart! What was I thinking? LOL. The Duke’s Dragoon, Book Four, in The Duke’s Guard Series (due 11/30/22) and Captivated by the Lyon, for Dragonblade Publishing’s Connected Word, The Lyon’s Den (due 12/1/22).
I’d best get back to work, I have to pick up our darling grandsons at 3pm. Then is catching up with their day, snack, and getting them settled so I can chat with readers from 5pm to 6pm. Then it’s dinner with our darlings, more fun and games –hopefully no homework…until it’s time to drive them home.
