This summer is flying by at warp-speed!
A huge accomplishment for me was to finish–yes, I really did say finish–my first Christmas novella! The big deal was that it was supposed to happen in 2018. BUT alas…life happened. 😉
I’ve had this story on the back burner for a couple of years, mainly because my hero and heroine were deemed “too old” by my publisher at the time. Seriously?? Rather than give up on the two older characters from my Small Town USA trilogy–now a series–I promised them they’d have their time to shine.

If you believe in love…true love, you already know that love takes many shapes and forms, and happens at any age.
Why? Because Fate, Destiny and Love do not factor in what day it is, what time it is, or how old you are. Open your arms wide and embrace it. Be thankful that it’s happening! You’re never too old to fall in love!
Whew, I got that off my chest and said it out loud. Rabble-rouser…that’s me. If my Dad was alive, I’d ask him to do his famous Rebel Yell! Lord, did he grin whenever something deserved that head back, lungs and guts busting yell to shout out his joy. I really miss him.
Twenty years doesn’t dampen the love you have for a loved one that has gone on to their reward, so why should it exclude people over a certain age?
Newsflash…it doesn’t! Love happens all the time. Every day. Every Minute. No matter how old you are.Â
Soooo…that being said, I’m delighted to announce that Christmas Comes to Apple Grove (aka CCTAG) is currently in the hands of my editor. YeeHaw!
